Water Treatment Installation in Stephenson, Virginia

Gordon B. had JR Snider install a water softener in their home.

Water Treatment Install in Castleton

Both units were installed to the left of the pressure tank. We ran a new 1” cpvc water line from the pressure tank and through both units, reconnecting it onto the existing 3/4” copper water line. Additionally, we ran a new 3/4” cpvc backwash line to the laundry standpipe in the next room.

After completing the installation, we let the glue dry for 45 minutes and turned the water back on to check for any leaks. Fortunately, no leaks were found. We then proceeded to program both units, backwash and rinse them thoroughly, and cycle them to ensure they are working properly. We introduced chlorine through the air cat, drained and refilled the water heater, and chlorinated the entire house. Lastly, we backwashed and rinsed the air cat and allowed it to draw air for 15 minutes. We ran chlorine off and tested the water, and we are pleased to inform you that everything is now working properly.

Outdated Water Softener Replacement in Boyce, VA

This customer had an outdated Whirlpool Water Softener that was no longer working. We tested her water and found she had 20 GPG hardness which is pretty hard water. Hard water can cause issues like dry skin and hair, damage to appliances, and buildup on fixtures.

We went out and replaced the old unit with a CareSoft Elite Resin Softener.
